South Uist
Outer Hebrides. Hasselblad 45mm. May 2010.
The entire west coast of South Uist is a twenty mile continuous strip of deserted virgin white sand. Backed by an extensive dune system and the incredibly diverse machair lands, this patchwork of habitats is rich in plant and wildlife that is unique to the Hebrides.
