Ladhar Bheinn

Standing high above the shores of Loch Hourn, Ladhar Bheinn is a magnificent mountain and one that requires a bit more effort to reach. It enjoys a superb position on the western seaboard and commands domineering views of Knoydart in every direction. From experience I knew the optimal time to photograph this majestic peak was at dawn. I positioned myself high above the vast Coire Dhorrcall and as the sun rose I finally captured the image I had hoped for.
