Stirlingshire. Hasselblad 45mm. October 2009.
The Trossachs are renowned as one of the best areas in the country to see the spectacular onset of autumn. This compact wooded area contains an exceptionally diverse array of deciduous tress, ensuring that each year there is an unparalleled blaze of colour on display through October and into November. The area is also peppered with a number of lochs. Loch Achray is one of the smallest and its placid waters make it an ideal location for exquisite reflections of Ben Venue and the surrounding woodland.
