Beinn a Bheithir. Hasselblad 45mm. November 2010.
I knew from experience the view East from the summit of Sgorr Dhearg offered potential for good photography during the winter months. After one failed attempt the year before I took advantage of an early snow fall in November and set off under perfect conditions. On reaching the summit the winds were light and the visibility superb with clear skies to the West. I setup just below the summit and waited for the right balance between light and shade which helps accentuate the depth.
