Loch Linnhe, Hasselblad 90mm. December 2009.
The peaks of the Morven peninsula provide the perfect backdrop to this quintessential Scottish scene. Situated on the shores of Loch Linnhe this castle has stood since 1320 and changed ownership countless times. Today it is privately owned and visits can even be made by appointment. I made this photograph just before a midwinter Sunset when the last of the afternoon light streams down the loch from the West.
