The Summer Isles

On this particular evening I had intended to shoot the peaks of Inverpolly from the summit of Ben More Coigach but, on summiting, the strong easterly winds quickly put paid to this idea. I changed my plan and headed for another vantage point I had scouted on the ascent. Now safely sheltered from the buffeting winds I was able to make this image as the sun set over the Minch.
