Cul Beag and Stac Pollaidh
Inverpolly. Hasselblad 45mm. March 2009.
The persistent haze of the day had forced me to rethink the shot I had originally intended on this particular evening. I decided to change my location and shoot directly into the sun knowing the haze would reduce the intensity of the Sun and thus reducing the chances of lens flare. I firmly believe that part of being a successful photographer is the ability to anticipate and adapt to the changing conditions, especially with Scotland’s notoriously unpredictable maritime climate.
