Coigach
Inverpolly. Hasselblad 30mm. June 2009.
Cul Mòr stands in the middle of Inverpolly and commands one of the best summit viewpoints in the north-west Highlands. After a number of previous trips I knew that the optimum time to make this photograph would be as close to the summer solstice as possible. Timing this image accordingly, I was fortunate to find perfect conditions and captured Cùl Beag, Stac Pollaidh and the mountains of Coigach as the sun set at its most northerly.
