An Teallach: The Forge. For many years I held an ambition to combine this dramatic view with the very best Autumnal light, from previous reconnaissance trips I knew he optimal time would be a clear dawn in early October. After biding my time an opportunity finally arose and I set off into the night. Starting from sea-level there is no indication and nothing to quite prepare you for the view that awaits from the summit of Bidein a’Ghlas Thuill. At 1062m it stands as the highest point of this magnificent mountain and also offers one of the best viewpoints within the United Kingdom.
