Achnahaird Bay

From an elevated promontory I stood and watched this colossal weather system finally relinquish its grip on the landscape. As the front slowly cleared, the elusive evening sun duly appeared to light the extraordinary aftermath of cloud and rain. Transfixed by this unfolding drama, I waited patiently for the prominent peak of Stac Pollaidh to emerge from the gloom before taking the shot.
