Orkney, Hasselblad 45mm. July 2014.
The Orkney archipelago is a collection of 70 or so diverse isles and skerries located just off the Northern coast of Scotland. Separated by the Pentland Firth the majority of these lands are mainly low-lying save for the Isle of Hoy. Famous for its sharply rising sandstone cliffs and high rounded summits its distinctive profile is best seen from Stennigor, Stromness as the sun sets low in the summer sky.
