The Black Cuillin
Isle of Skye. Hasselblad 90mm. January 2008.
The Black Cuillin is arguably the most dramatic of Scotland’s mountain ranges. These jagged peaks and ridges account for 11 Munro’s and offer some of the most challenging mountaineering in the UK. Waiting patiently for the Sun to rise, I witnessed the first rays of light strike the highest peaks bathing them briefly in the pink light of dawn.
