Moonen Bay
Isle of Skye. Hasselblad 45mm. December 2009.
The dramatic setting of Neist Point Lighthouse marks the most Westerly tip of the Isle of Skye. Perched exposed on the Duirinish peninsula it has overlooked Moonen Bay since 1909. These sheltered waters are one of the best places to see Whales, Dolphins, Basking Sharks and the numerous sea birds that nest in the cliffs of Waterstein Head.
