Isle of Arran. Hasselblad 45mm. July 2011.
During the Summer months the hours of sunrise and sunset make mountain photography particularly demanding because the window of fine light available is extremely short. After an overnight camp and an early start I summited the northern most Corbett of Caisteal Abhail with barely enough time to set my camera up to catch the first rays of early morning light striking the backbone of the Arran mountains and beyond to Ailsa Craig.
