The West coast of Barra
Outer Hebrides. Hasselblad 45mm. August 2009.
After a typical Hebridean day of sunshine and showers, another rain squall marches in fresh off the Atlantic. Stuck in the deluge I stayed and watched it pass, slowly revealing the ancient landscape in warm evening light. Out to the west the skies stayed clear and I was able to photograph this rugged coast as the tail end of the weather front disappeared east.
