Dawn, Loch Lomond
Argyll and bute. Hasselblad 90mm. February 2008.
For a relatively small hill the view on offer from the summit of Duncryne is spectacular. A perfect panorama of Loch Lomond and the surrounding mountains of the Southern highlands is laid out, the skyline dominated by Ben Lomond. This location is almost always best photographed during winter at dawn when the first rays of sunlight illuminate the south facing slopes.
