Ardmaddy Bay
Argyll and Bute. Hasselblad 45mm. October 2009.
Many photographers have their favourite locations that they return to time after time and mine is Loch Etive, particularly the area surrounding Ardmaddy Bay. Reaching this location requires a long walk although the journey can be considerably eased with the use of a mountain bike thanks to a well maintained track. I have visited this area every month of the year, eventually deciding that a low tide on an autumn morning would allow me capture this beautiful scene at its best.
