Glen Etive
Highland. Hasselblad 30mm. March 2008.
Beinn trilleachan is a fine Corbett that overlooks the head of Loch Etive deep in Argyll, it is a steep sided peak that gives superb views of Glen Etive, Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains of Ben Starav and the two Buachailles of Etive and Beag. After a steep ascent starting from sea level I summited with time to setup and appreciate the scene that lay before me. I waited patiently for the evening light to transform the landscape in a way I had hoped for when I pre-visualised the image months before.
