Bidean nam Bian

Glen Coe. Hasselblad 30mm. March 2009.

From experience, often some of Scotland’s finest vistas are actually from that of lower, less recognised peaks. Meall Mor, for example, is situated at the western end of Glen Coe where it is frequently overshadowed by its more fashionable neighbours of the Aonach Eagach ridge and Bidean nam Bian. Due to this it can be easily disregarded as a worthwhile endeavour with little to suggest that the summit offers such a grand and unique perspective into one of Scotland’s most famous glens.
