Ben Loyal
Sutherland. Hasselblad 45mm. October 2009.
Ben Loyal – Queen of the Scottish mountains – is one of the most northerly Corbetts in Scotland. Rising to 2,507 feet/764 metres and overlooking the Kyle of Tongue, this granite peak soars majestically from a vast expanse of open moorland. Its instantly recognizable profile contains four main peaks, the highest of which is An Caisteal.
